Meal Assembly Kitchens or meal preparation businesses started opening everywhere after this concept was featured in Working Mother magazine in 2003. At one point there were 15 of these types of businesses in the Triangle area but around 2008 many began closing and by 2011 we were the only one left.
We understand the dinner dilemma.
Dinner Savvy is owned and operated by Sharon Albrecht. As a busy mom herself, Sharon knows how hard it is to get a nutritious meal on the table that the whole family will enjoy. Sharon comes from a family of great cooks and has always enjoyed creating delicious meals for her family and friends. This business allows her to share her love of great food with others and solve their dinner dilemmas.
We are the only Meal Assembly Kitchen in the Triangle area.
This means that we are free to develop our own recipes, create our own menus and purchase our ingredients from the food suppliers of our choice. Many of our recipes, like our Stuffed Meatloaf and Chicken and Rice Casserole are family recipes that have been part of our dinners for years.
Quality meals start with quality ingredients.
Our fresh ingredients and hand trimmed meats set us apart from the others. While we occasionally need to use a frozen product itís the exception, not the rule. Most of our menu each month is comprised of fresh meats, fresh produce and fresh herbs. Many of the sauces we use are made from scratch in our kitchen. We chop our own garlic and dice our own onions. You can see and taste the difference.
Our friendly and knowledgeable staff is ready to make your experience at Dinner Savvy the best it can be. Go ahead and book a session and get ready to find yourself with some extra time on your hands.
